The days of play will be from August 2 to August 10, 2024. Tournament approved by the International, Spanish and Catalan Chess Federation. Valid for obtaining International Titles . It will be played with the Swiss-Dutch system (C.04.3) for 9 rounds in 2 groups. Valid for the Catalan Circuit of International Opens
Group A: FIDE 1950 or higher
Valid for obtaining International Titles. Players with an ELO belonging to Group B, renounce to score in their section (corresponding to Group B), both for tournament prizes and for the XIX Catalan Circuit of International Opens
Group B: FIDE 1949 or lower
Whoever voluntarily participates in Group A, renounces scoring in his section (corresponding to Group B), both for tournament prizes and for the XIX Catalan Circuit of International Opens.

The Cor de Marina Chess Club organizes an international chess open in which players from all over the world participate, with the support of the Catalan Chess Federation, Consell Català de l’esport and the city of Badalona.

There is a membership fee to the entity of 11 euros per month. The member can become federated by obtaining a federation card for about 45 euros
Classes last an hour and a half, they are held throughout the year from September to June.

The Cor de Marina is open all year round from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday to Sunday.
